How we like it
The same way as their previous models (the HEMP Shirts that we reviewed here) they are offering two styles: the first one is a Black shirt with a Brazilian Flag, the second one is a white shirt with an American flag.
Compared to the Hemp shirt this model is lighter, softer and much more fitted. What I noticed with the hemp shirts was the fabric can be a little rough, but it’s exactly the opposite with the bamboo shirts. These shirts are comfortable to wear all day, and my wife loved it (which means I might not be wearing them as much as I want.)
The Design of the shirts is also a step forward, in my opinion. I love how they look. The colors are vibrant and the shirt itself screams quality. The only detail that I didn’t like very much was the change of the phrase “ordem e progresso” on the Brazilian flag for “submission * submission.” The phrase on the Brazilian flag has a strong meaning and reflects a complicated period of time in Brazil. It represents the ideas of the new generation and what the new republic would stand for. To me, it’s as important as the colors on the flag, so taking it off is like getting rid of a part of the Brazilian history and principles (even though a lot of people in Brazil would argue that the phrase is outdated and very militaristic.)
Besides that (personal) detail, I love the shirt. Seriously, these might be the most comfortable shirts I’ve ever had.
I strongly recommend the new Submission FC Bamboo shirts and I hope they will have more designs soon. You can get yours today at their website.
