My name is Fabio and I started practicing JUDO when I was 7. I’m from Brazil and was always involved in martial arts in some form. My older brother was the one that started me on JUDO and we used to have a lot of fun training together.
I moved to the US in 2008 and started practicing JUDO and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Charleston-SC. I work with computer technical support and repairs and I’m a full time college student (trying to get my Computer Science Degree).
Most of my most memorable stories involve Judo and I made good friends throughout the years. Also, it was at a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class that I met my lovely and gorgeous wife (yes, we were beating each other up before we even got married).
I love getting new gear and testing new items, especially the gis. I have always had a hard time buying them because it’s hard to find good reviews. I have never really had a good idea on what to expect from my purchases; so I decided to start a blog to keep a personal record of what I buy and how I feel about them.
Today I’m a Shodan (Black Belt in JUDO) and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
My short term goals are:
Get my Blue BeltDONE! 🙂 Review 10 GisDONE! 🙂 Win a JUDO Tournament this year at the 145 poundsDONE! 🙂
I need new short term goals!
My long term goals are:
- Get a Black Belt in BJJ
- Win a BJJ Tournament
I hope you enjoy the blog, and if you want to contact me for any reason (doubts, suggestions, criticism, anything) please do.
I would love to hear from you.
